Pastors from the greater Reformed Christian community graciously provide their services to Emmanuel Home, offering Wednesday morning devotions to residents.
Spiritual Support
Our neighbour, Trinity Christian Reformed Church and their pastor, Rev. Rich deLange, provides spiritual support and services to seniors at Emmanuel Home.
Games
Having fun is an important part of life in our senior living facilities! Our extensive recreation program includes a weekly games night. Shuffle board and billiards are always available for residents to enjoy.
Summer Gardens
Spending time outdoors and in nature has many mental and physical health benefits. Residents can relax among the flowers in the courtyard or try out their green thumb by planting veggies in our community garden.
Library
Our Gerry Segger Library offers an excellent selection of books and computers for our residents to use. The room is also a peaceful area to relax and reflect.
Professional Services
As a well-rounded retirement community, we offer many professional services at various times to our residents including: hair care, foot care clinics, hearing aid clinics, and optometry services.
Banking
Each Tuesday, the Christian Credit Union provides banking services in-house for our residents.
Fitness
Active seniors can enjoy free time on the fitness equipment or participate in our in-house Keep Fit program.
Support Services
Treat your loved one(s) to a meal or a day off from cleaning by purchasing a support services gift cards!
Health & Wellness Options
Hearing Aid Clinic
On a quarterly basis, a representative from Medicine Place visits Emmanuel Home to assist residents with their hearing aid needs.
Eye Care Clinic
An Optometrist from Tofield Eyecare visits Emmanuel Home on a quarterly basis to provide eye exams and other optical services to residents and staff.
Foot Care Clinic
Available twice each month, a Foot Care Clinic offers care for calluses, ingrown toe nails, corns as well as diabetic foot care for residents who require treatment.
Hair Salon
A professional hair stylist is available by appointment to wash, cut, style and perm residents’ hair. They are at Emmanuel Home on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Convenience Store
Marty’s Convenience Store operated by Dutch Delicious Bakery is open to residents and family members every Wednesday! Customers are able to purchase fresh bread, groceries, confectionery, imported goods, and household items. (Cash and Debit/Credit is accepted)
Northern Perk Cafe
Offers weekly specialty eats and snacks from our Emmanuel Home Kitchen. Hosts Recreation Fundraising Sales, as well as features Community-based Businesses!

Lighthouse has lovely collection of donated books located on the second floor on the east wing. Soon, a cozy reading nook will be located in the west wing sunroom.
Harbour Cafe
